Lesser-known Temple in Kyoto 🇯🇵 I had a slow and relaxing time here! I arrived at 10am and there were only a handful of visitors. I loved the small bamboo forest, the pond, the rock garden and the small hill behind the temple where you can see a beautiful view of the mountains and the town. The maple leaves are starting to change into orangeu002Fred and few of them have reached their peak (bright red). I’m thinking the scenery will be more beautiful in 1-2 weeks. It might get a bit busier during peak season as well but since it’s not super close to the famous tourist spots in Kyoto and there’s an entrance fee of ¥1,000, it wouldn’t be that crowded.
